How we decide what to do with the items you are not taking with you when you move greatly depends on the number of items and the condition of the items you have. First, we determine if you have enough items that would warrant an auction. Sometimes you may have a few really nice pieces that can go to a local consignment store. We can help you sell anything from furniture to housewares to costume jewellery to art and more. Typically we cannot sell clothing or accessories but they may be fit for consignment. Following this, we look at donating items to local charities. During the pandemic, it has become increasingly difficult to find a home for these things as many donation centers are not accepting donations. We have turned to our local Freecycle groups or Gifting groups on social media to help those in need during this time.
