Janice Kirwin is the owner of Lighten Up! providing professional organizing and senior move management services in London, Ontario. She is a 2018 Harold Taylor Award recipient. Twenty years of banking and lending experience, her organizational skills and love for helping people make this her dream business!

When her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and had to be finally moved to a Long Term Care Facility, she gained a keen appreciation for the challenges faced by many seniors and their families. While sorting through the family home of 45 years, Janice quickly realized that there was a niche for this type of service and it was greatly needed in London.

Her clients are of all ages, whether they are looking to get organized in their homes or require assistance with a move. Most of the projects are due to a transition in life such as marriage, baby, divorce, illness, retirement, downsizing, senior moves, long term care, or death. Janice enjoys each new experience and helps her clients through their transitions with compassion and care. Every project presents a new challenge and she implements her training and life skills to find solutions for each client.

Janice is a member of the Professional Organizers of Canada (POC) and the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM).
